Hunter grew up in Rose Hill, KS and left to study at Oklahoma State University. While at Oklahoma State, Hunter was very involved in many extracurricular activities and had the opportunity to study abroad in both Scotland and Ireland. After graduating from Oklahoma State, Hunter went on to study at The University of Tulsa College of Law. During her time in law school Hunter had the opportunity to work on commutations before the Pardon and Parole Board of Oklahoma, successfully arguing for her client’s early release. Hunter went on to intern for the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office and the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office. During her final year of law school, Hunter worked for an employment law firm where she conducted legal research, drafted pleadings, and discovery documents. After passing the bar Hunter practiced in Family Law. Hunter has a passion for helping client’s and being their greatest advocate. Hunter recently received her MBA from Emporia State University.

Hunter enjoys spending time with her two dogs and fiancé, cooking for friends and family, and watching reality television.
